Tucked away in the expansive Centennial Valley, the two-story Anderson House is your respite from a day's adventure in the Montana backcountry. This beautifully restored, 100-year-old ranch homestead serves as the flagship accommodation of the the J Bar L Ranch. The Anderson House is the J Bar L’s closest vacation home to the Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge, Elk Lake and Hidden Lake, Yellowstone National Park, Henry’s Lake and the famous Madison and Henry’s Fork Rivers. Guests need only to cross over the ranch fence, some yards from the front door, to enter the Refuge. Wilderness access begins just up the hill in the Beaverhead National Forest or across the valley in the Centennial Mountains, along the Continental Divide.
